I loved Beck and Sunny’s banter and the way he cared for her. The story was sweet and fun. I thought the antagonist was an interesting choice, especially for a romcom, but it worked and didn’t feel too out of place or too obvious.

This fucking rocked. Beckett is the most down bad man I’ve ever read and that is a fucking FEAT. Also it’s funny and goofy and I just loved it.

Sometimes the small town kookey characters are too much for me to handle. Beck clearly needed therapy. Sunny also needed therapy. It felt like random shit just popped up out of nowhere. It was too long. It could have easily been edited down to under 400 pages without sacrificing anything.

The pacing was off for me. I found myself wondering why I cared. Or if I did. There were too many things happening without anything happening?

I didn’t love it. I didn’t hate it. It was kind of just okay.
