Sometimes the small town kookey characters are too much for me to handle. Beck clearly needed therapy. Sunny also needed therapy. It felt like random shit just popped up out of nowhere. It was too long. It could have easily been edited down to under 400 pages without sacrificing anything.

The pacing was off for me. I found myself wondering why I cared. Or if I did. There were too many things happening without anything happening?

I didn’t love it. I didn’t hate it. It was kind of just okay.

i was happily surprised at how much i enjoyed in a jam, so i was looking forward to this. the plot was a little clunky and i think this could’ve been 100 pages shorter. but did i enjoy it? yes. yes i did. and i will be reading the (inevitable) next one. sue me.

I did really enjoy this but it was a tad too long. They had some really sweet moments and I did mostly enjoy the host of supporting characters. Leary, in particular, was hilarious.
