Okkkk.. I really wanted to love this book but Hayden’s character fell short compared to the other three fmcs. Her character was so boring. Also, I think I just got tired of the same story over and over. I scanned through this book and really wanted to DNF it. I did love Christopher’s story but didn’t like the lack of his brothers’ presence compared to the other books.
Overall, I give this series a solid 3.5⭐️ Tristan and Elliot will always have my heart.

I really enjoyed a large chunk of this book, but I felt like it was too long? There was so much going on and going wrong after the trip that I felt like the end had to wrap up too quickly.
I loved the backpacking and travel aspects of the book. The MC's had a great tension and build up, I just hated that 3rd act break up.
We all know a Basil and no, I don't say anything.

I received an arc from Netgalley for a honest review.
The book that I've been waiting for a year is finally here, and it totally didn't disappoint. Of course Christopher has A LOT of shoes to fill after all such amazing books in the series. But like always, I devoured the book, and couldn't put it down. I've been in a book slump, and didn't feel like reading much at all this month. Always happen whenever I read a book by TL Swan.
Without giving too much away, we know Christopher was going back packing around Europe for a do-over and pretty much to show his brothers that he's not spoiled and can pretty much live a life without money. Hayden was trying to get over her heartbreak so she decided to back pack also. They met at the hostel, and became good friends. Slowly they start to fall for one another, but Hayden knows she's bound to have to get another heart break from Christopher so she rather stay as friends.
I laughed pretty much throughout the book. A few times where my heart was hurting and beating so fast. A few times where I swooned so hard. One time where I wanted to throw my kindle. Lol I legit screamed so hard at one point.
I just really love this book. Now I'll have to sit here and wait until Miles Ever After.

You know how you anticipate something and then its such a huge let down when you actually have it in your hands? Have you ever had that feeling? What about the feeling when you anticipate something soooo very much AND then it lives up to your expectations...nay precedes them and you just float on a cloud for several days after reading a great book? That's the feeling I had...and I'm still on my cloud.
Christopher. The final brother. The youngest. The most irresponsible. The one that seems to have just gotten by on the coattails of others. However, this perception is greatly exaggerated when he realizes he wants to make his own mark on the world. To accomplish finding out who he is as a person, he decides to leave his world of privilege and backpack around the world with just a few thousand dollars for the entire year.
This is where we meet our heroine, Hayden. Hayden is coming off of a major breakup and wanting to experience the world. While on her journey of self-discovery, she meets Christo (our hero in disguise!) who is also trying to find out about himself.
T.L. Swan is an amazing world builder. Her stories are long, have a bit of a slow delicious burn, but you know who you are reading. You know the characters, their motivations, their faults, and also their strengths. This is a beautiful conclusion (or is it??) to the four brothers series.
One thing to note - I think this book is better read with the series. However, it could be read as a standalone. But why would you want to?

What an addictive, bingey series!! The Do-Over is the fourth and final book that follows the youngest Miles brother, Christopher, who decides to leave his bachelor life behind for one full year and backpack across Europe. For years he’s had a reputation for being a player/ asshole and doesn’t believe in love or relationships. However, when he meets Hayden, who is staying at the same hostel, and the two become best friends, his mindset and everything he has once believed begins fo change. The only problem is that Hayden thinks he is the poor backpacker he is “pretending” to be on this trip and not the billionaire CEO the world knows him as. Does Christopher have it in him fo tell Hayden the truth, especially when Hayden starts to fall for this other version of him?
TL Swan wrote her best book yet. Seriously, if you are to just read one this is it!!! I laughed so much when reading, felt emotionally connected to all the characters, and cried big, ugly tears at the end, which is a rarity for me. The best part was seeing Christopher’s character growth and watching him learn about the world, learn about love and learn how to be selfless. Also, the scenes where we got the rest of the Mile's brothers and saw how much they loved and supported Christopher during his journey, MELTED my heart.
Read if you like:
-backpacking/traveling
-found family
-supportive, meddling families
-opposites attract
-open door steamy scenes
-cameos from previous books

Well...
I thought Jameson was the biggest douche out of the four of these dickheads but turned out Christopher wins The Miles Brother Biggest Dickhead Award!
Congratulations I guess!
Like when you are reading a book and thinking that Christian fucking Grey is less self involved than this piece of shit you know you've reached peak knobhead status!
Honestly these books are legit terrible, to me they read like Elon Musk/Real Life Billionaire fan fiction.
Why then did I binge read them all in four days?
Well, perverse fascination I guess! I honestly wanted to see if they could possibly get any worse. Answer? They could.
I enjoy a good billionaire romance from time to time but the MMC needs to have some kind of idea how a real person behaves. The ones where they are super philanthropic and respectful of the average Joe are my favourites.
These fuckwits?
Christopher's inner monologue is 100% what I think the inside of Elon Musks head sounds like and that's not a place anyone wants to be. The way he thought/spoke about people just doing their jobs was frankly disgusting.
If I was Hayden I'd have run from this piece of shit and never looked back. Especially when he comes out with gems like:
"The last thing I need is another woman busting my balls."
or
“There’s no fucking point. I’m not doing a long-distance relationship. It won’t work.”
“Why not?”
“Because I need sex!”
And while on the topic of the women in his and his brother's life, I found the fact that mommy dearest makes an appearance in each book to offer pearls of wisdom to her disgusting sons to be laughable. I mean we are told countless times that they were sent to boarding school from a super young age so she didn't raise them so her talking about how so and so was such a way as a child is ridiculous.
Also, Eddie somehow didn't age. He was 14 when Christopher met him and after a year of travelling and a few months home, he meets him again and he is still 14! Asking Eddie to call him dad also made me want to hurl. The epilogues for this series are usually the best part of an overall shit show but I'm afraid to start this one because a 14 year old homeless boy who worked in a bar at night calling this piece of shit dad is making me want to punch things.
Anyways, thank goodness it's over. They were all on KU/free on Audible and I was in a terrible mood this week so they served to allow me to really dig into that. So, they didn't cost me anything and I got to wallow!
