I really enjoyed reading this book: there were bits where I was actually very invested in what the author was telling, other times I didn't much care but still pushed through because the "chapters" were concise and intriguing nonetheless. I really liked that the author included the stories of non-Americans as well, although I would have loved to know more about Asian or African corpses as well as I'm sure the cultural insight would have made it all the more interesting.

A really interesting book. There are some stories that I ended up skipping past, mainly because I already knew the stories, such as Richard the 3rd. But the rest were absolutely fascinating. I don’t suggest trying to read it all in one go, it’s better to take it a story at a time or a section at a time to get the best version of the book.

I'm at times morbidly intruiged by the subject of death and this was definitely a good book to read in one of those time. Very interesting and had some good facts.

I am not quite sure how a cool and novel topic such as the handling of famous people bodies after they've died can be treated so "meh" but here it is. Sometimes cool, often a bore. This is fairly hum drum and I was disappointed with it.

I thought the sections were far too short but appreciated that the author was probably consciously excluding too much detail to keep the readers attention. It offers nothing new in the way of knowledge (everything is on Wikipedia) but is still a fascinating read.

We could never be able to avoid death. Even a famous people will face it. But sometimes famous people death brought an unusual occurrences even though they pass away by natural causes. Funeral supposed to be a closing event for life can be a complicated event for them.

The risk of being stolen, burned, sold and any other unthinkable thing  that include body parts separated from them is what famous people facing after death. In this book, some of story is hilarious, some of it is just  so eerie and making me think if this is the price that we have to pay for being famous?

This book discussing about dead people but then I can still call it as light read for the way it present. Short but informative. Making it an enjoyable read. This is recommended for a curious reader.
