Heidi is a book about a young girl who lives on the mountains in Switzerland with her grandfather.
This is a wonderful classic book for children, and perfect for cozying up with on a snowy winter day. It has lovable characters and a beautifully described setting. I would absolutely recommend this to any child looking for a good book, but I think a lot of adults would love it too!

I love, love, loved the first half. It was most of the story I knew, and it was lovely.
The second half got unnecessarily religious or full of gross moralizing. Idk why

one of the most beautiful, funny, enchanting children’s stories in the whole world. Subtly heartbreaking in so many ways and quietly uplifting in all the others. Reading it when I was younger I really missed a lot of the more grown up troubles portrayed by the Alm-Uncle. I did not miss much else, as it’s a really accessible story for kids and adults alike. The most familiar parts to me were Peter being a hating jealous bitch and Heidi being in love with the mountain. Ok that’s my review Heidi rocks bye
Meh. It was fine. It just wasn't as endearing as I remembered. The descriptions of the scenery and nature was the best. The characters annoyed me at times.
