Just meh. Was gripping enough that I wanted to keep reading, but overall it was unsatisfying. Christian's choices early on were annoying, and I thought maybe they'd make sense in the end but they didn't. A couple of red herrings, which is fine, and then the big twist was bland. I thought it was going to go in a different, perhaps more tragic direction which almost made me gasp and got me excited, but the actual story ended up disappointing.

On the plus side, it was an easy, fast, and moderately entertaining read on the moment.

This book had me guessing until the end!  Unfortunately, I didn’t really like the end and I felt like all of the build up was wasted with what ended up happening. Overall solid listen though!

Characters were boring and the ending felt rushed and out of place. It was quick to read and the story was fine, but it was hard to get invested.
