I really enjoyed this book. While it covers many heavy topics (loss of a partner, loss of a parent, suicidal ideation, divorce, affairs, etc.), it manages not to be an overly heavy book. I can’t count the amount of times I laughed out loud while reading this book. Overall, a great read.

Audiobook by Helen Laser.
Impressive that a book that mentions the pandemic, a cheating of husband, a dead cat, and attempted suicide can end up being charming and funny.
It only makes sense as a story, but that’s fine. Probably works mostly because so many of us dream of just being honest over being polite.

But what happened to Tom? The suicidal husband of Mia: the affair partner? And really? Why still call him her husband?

I enjoyed the read, but expect it won’t hold up well to scrutiny. And so.much.alcohol…..
