I actually loved this book so much. I will say the end is pretty predictable if you’re paying attention but it was done in such an amazing way that I wasn’t even mad at it. This actually might be one of my top books for 2023. The romance is so good and cute. The buildup to their love is done so well. It’s suspenseful but not too agonizing and it didn’t just come out of no where. I loved it.
Cute and a fast read but had to take a few points off for some millennial verbiage. Not as good as 7 year slip
immediately did not like all the cliche phrases the author uses and felt like the author needed to "show, not tell" a little about the main character not believing in love
Very fun concept and cutesy, fell into a few tropes/writing quirks that took me out of it but over all a great read

my god i will never stop singing in the praises of ashley poston. every book is a gift, and i forever want to live in her worlds.
i loved florence and ben, but i loved the day’s even more. getting to read about the love that this family had for each other in the most unique ways was so special. i sobbed multiple times.

I absolutely loved the story. I laughed and cried. Great story about grappling with loss and overcoming past trauma from relationships. Did I cry when Ben left, yes but I surely kicked my feet when the truth was revealed.
I read this book in record time - stayed up until 3 a.m. to read it, in fact. I love this type of plotline and boy, it did not disappoint. Honestly, I would have rated it higher if it weren't for the millennial humor ('doggo'...please), but to be fair, the main character is in her late twenties so I suppose it's not the most egregious thing. Genuinely, this book really impressed me, and now I'm excited to read Ashley Poston's new book!
