Captain and Victoria - enemies to lovers, kidnapping, high school setting,
Victoria was groomed as a young girl, being told to spot secrets. She was taken as a baby from her mother, only to be kept away by herself hidden. One day she was rescued and then sent back to Brayshaw to spot secrets and tell them to her rescuer. Only she found a big secret she knew she couldn’t tell, so she lied.
Captain has the biggest secret of them all, Zoey. Zoey was kept from him from the moment her mom got pregnant til she was older. Captain only found out because someone was leaving him clues along the way.

Loved this book so much. Cap and Victoria just work so well together. They went through a lot of shit to get where they belonged but it was worth it.
5+ Stars!!
Be My Brayshaw is everything I wanted it to be, expected it to be, and yet still, somehow, it was so much more. Captain and Victoria’s journey to each other is by no means an easy one, but it’s my favourite Brayshaw story yet, one of my top reads of 2020. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.
The Brayshaw series is one of my all-time favourites. The world that Meagan creates is next to none, the bonds and friendships, the love these characters have for one another is unbreakable. The plots are intense, unexpected and so brilliantly written, nothing is every what you think. Ever since book 1 I have been intrigued by Victoria, and Captain has always been my favourite Brayshaw (I’m a sucker for a blondie with blue eyes) so I could not wait for this book.
Be My Brayshaw has everything you’ve come to expect from Meagan, angst, heartbreak, secrets and betrayal, but there is still so much love, hope and trust within that close-knit group, it keeps you hooked. I was on the edge of my seat throughout, trying to predict what would happen next but would rarely get it right. The questions I was left with at the end of Reign were answered, but also new questions came up. So much unfolds in this book from other parts of this world, it adds a whole new layer of secrets and truths that were never uncovered in the previous books. ⠀
Victoria has always been a mystery, with her past, her knowledge and her secrets. All the way through Raven and Maddoc’s story, she seemed to know something they didn’t, always one step ahead and I was so ready to get into her mind to see what she was like. But in no way was I ready for how much I would love her. Her character was so honest, fierce, loyal, strong and compassionate. Everything she did was for a reason, and I fell for her too. My heart ached for her past, I just wanted to give her a hug, but her actions were purposeful and meaningful. She loved those Brayshaws hard and has overtaken Raven as my favourite heroine in this world, and I didn’t think that could happen.
Captain has always been the anchor through the first three books, but he’s thrown off with his feelings for Victoria. He is so protective of Zoey and seeing them together proves Victoria’s been hiding secrets all along. It takes him a while to open up and trust Victoria, but when he realises her love for Zo, wow does he fall harder. Captain is the thoughtful, kinder more caring of the brothers, but that doesn’t mean he’s any weaker. He is still Brayshaw, he will fight to protect his own, his strength and determination to always do the right thing for Zoey is next to none and he loves hard once he’s let you in. Captain and Victoria are officially my favourite Brayshaw couple.
Every single character from the series grew in this book. Maddoc and Raven are so happy in their HEA, they’re stronger than ever and provide support throughout. Maddoc’s transformation from the brooding bad boy to someone who cares for people other than his brothers is beautiful, his relationship with Zoey warmed my heart. Royce is the best uncle to Zoey and his friendship with Victoria is one of my favourite relationships in this book and the sneak peak of his book at the end has me so excited to return to this wonderful world. Zoey was a little scene stealer; she was so cute and had so much love to give. These characters are flawed, but that’s what makes them so loved. They are a strong unit, never breaking, but accepting of each other’s imperfections once they’ve let you into their circle.
Meagan’s writing is up there with the best I’ve ever read, she can bring out any emotion in you, I laughed, I cried (and I mean cried a lot), my heart ached and broke, but was always put back together, as piece by piece of the story falls into place. I wanted to fight alongside them and fight for them. By the end, you feel like Brayshaw is your family. There are only a few authors who I have found have the ability to make me second guess everything, acting like a detective all the way through, trying to determine if something is important, and feeling the pain, hurt, love and hope as if I am there. Meagan is one of them, always has been, always will be. I’ve read every single one of her books since her debut Fumbled Hearts and I would recommend them to anyone and would re-read them over and over.
I honestly have not had a book hangover as bad as this one in a long time, and I think it’ll be a while until I can stop thinking about this book. I stayed up all night reading, devouring it in one go, writing page after page of notes with questions and emotions. Be My Brayshaw is an intense roller-coaster of feelings, but it’s one I would happily ride again and again.

Brayshaw Boys Continue with Captain in Be My Brayshaw : @meaganbrandyauthor ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Captain’s story took me for an emotional ride! Add in Victoria and little Zoey, it broke me! There’s just something about when a man falls to his knees for his queen! Captain and Victoria are addicting and couldn’t but this book down!
Be my Brayshaw is book 4 in the series. Recommend you read from the beginning.
I received an arc for an honest review.
Going into a series this being the 4th book in and the main characters are different then the first 3 books I always worry I won’t like the book as much since I’ve been so invested in raven and Maddoc. However this book did not disappoint.
This is my favorite book so far in this series. I can’t help it. Victoria and all her secrets. She was hiding something all right and I’m not sure anyone else would have been capable to standing up to Captain like she does. They fit together perfectly and sometimes not so perfect but somehow come out the other end stronger then before.
The story is very well written and fast paced. Keeps you on your toes and waiting for something else to happen. Another bomb to drop.
Can’t wait to read what comes next because Royce is a handful all on his own.

So it’s no secret I have always loved Captain Brayshaw. I’ve fallen in love with him since book 1 and never stopped. I had NO idea I could fall even more in love with him but Be my Brayshaw did exactly that. I absolutely loved how the book picked up exactly where it left off and legit took off. This book was everything and more I needed from the Brayshaw world. It was sad, emotional, funny, a beautiful disaster. We got a glimpse into who Victoria really is and just how much she belonged in their world without them realizing it. And if you think Captain stills your heart? Zoey will absolutely obliterate it. Her pure essence, sweet loving soul captures your heart and doesn’t let go. This was truly everything and I loved getting a deeper glimpse into Captain and who he really is and how he thinks. That’s all I’m going to say without giving too much away, just strap in and get ready for the ride.
Captain pulled at my heartstrings, but Victoria broke my heart. Once you learn how intwined she is in his life, you will never be able to look at her the same. I was so emotional when that twist happened because I couldn't have guessed that in a million years and that's what made it so perfect.
Oh Captain, My Captain
It's been a revelation to see Captain's inner monologue in this book as compared to the Brayshaw trilogy. He seemed so kind with Raven, but with Victoria...dang. He's a jerk. And I thought he was the thinker of the group...nope. He's a judgemental piece of rubbish. But he's also a good daddy and cares so much about his family. He's fiercely loyal and dependable and protective... complex. I loathed and loved him.
Victoria is a silent warrior. She's always on the outside, but forever collecting information. Her power is equal to Ravens power, but in a different way. Her silence is her strength. Her secrets go deeper than anyone imagines and she loses everything because of them. She wants her Captain's love, but the secrets are too much. You gotta peel back those layers to get to the heart of everything.
If you've invested time into the Brayshaw series and liked it, this gives you more of that from an alternate perspective. I enjoyed it. I love a vague review and so I deliver this one to you.
