The first Victoria Schwaab and V.E. Schwaab i am fully on board with.
It feels like one of those books, where you want to savor each word you hear. Every word is right. It is fantastical magical and realistic.
The ending was a little bit of a meh for me personally, hence the four stars, but the rest of it is perfection.

Captivating, different and original, nerve-wracking (and frankly, a bit creepy!). The setting was so well described and present that I literally got goosebumps and had to look around and breathe in before I read on. The ending was a bit rushed, but I live for VE Schwab’s writing style and will continue to devour anything she comes up with

The writing in this book is absolutely mesmerizing. Couldn’t put it down. I’ve seen mixed opinions on this book but it’s quite literally one of my favorite books I’ve ever read.
