Talking about suspending disbelief for the sake of a good story. Wren and Weston met on a faithful day in Vegas where they had lust at first sight so Weston dine and wine Wren and when they were too drunk, they went off to tie the knot. Waking up in bed together the next day made them decided to give the marriage a try. From then, it's all Hollywood secretive life for the 18 year old Wren and 31 years old Weston, together with all the drama, namely the crazy ex, dysfunctional parents, and the crazy paps. It is a long book and the characters are not that likeable. Wren felt very two dimensional for at least half the book and Weston is too cliched as a character. There are one or two scenes I really like: Wren's first time in Miles class and Wren defying Weston during their first fight. Overall, just an okay book to pass the time with.

An unconventional beginning leads to an adventure neither planned.

Weston and Wren made a decision that will change everything. Will they be able to maintain it?

It's up, down, and aggravating. It's real issues for an unusual situation.

This was a difficult book for me to review. I finished it yesterday, but had to sleep on it on how I wanted to rate and review. I finished the book, which means that I liked it enough to keep reading. The author did a really great job with the plot. I liked all the characters very much and it was a different type of read for me. I love a good "waking up in Vegas married" and "celebrity with an unknown", so this fit the bill for me.

**Spoilers**
There were some things that I struggled with. The first was the age gap between Weston and Wren. Normally I don't have a problem with age gaps, but the fact that she was still in high school really bothered me. I had a hard time moving past that. Another thing that really bothered me was Wren's mother. I have a hard time liking a mother that encourages her 18 year old daughter to stay married to a man in his 30s. Wren was the mature one in this situation. I also had a hard time believing that Weston's friends accepted his relationship as quickly as they did; Miles' reaction was the most believable.

While I'm not sure I will reread this, I appreciated K.I. Lynn's writing style and will certainly read other books by her.

Read this book as fanfiction years ago, but the criteria for a good book is higher than fanfiction, therefore it is not up to par. Grammatical and Syntax mistakes makes it lose value as an edited book. I get that the main plot point is that she is a high schooler but it still seems a bit too unrealistic that a 31 year old without bad intentions would marry a 18 year old after 2 bottles of champagne just that they “felt right”.

I enjoyed Becoming Mrs. Lockwood especially the taboo-ish element and the sex scenes but I didn't connect with the characters so this book didn't fully work for me. The hero and heroine said they had chemistry as well as other secondary characters but I never saw nor did I feel this chemistry between them. Some of the situations they were put in felt very contrived, it didn't feel like a natural progression.

While this book contained enjoyable elements it sadly didn't work for me.
