The pictures are soooooo cuuuute and I couldn't wait to delve in. The writing is soooooooooduullll. Maybe it's the translation.
(I guess it's supposed to be really funny that they name the kitten "pee.")
Returning volumes 2 and 3 to the library without even peeking.

Wonderful series for anyone of any age who has ever owned a cat and questioned its behavior and thoughts. Can't suggest this series enough.
This was fun. A cute and relatable cat manga. Full color and adorable. This cat reminds me of my cat. Very similar coloring and the same breed
This is seriously cute! Chi reminds me of my cat Ava. It's also funny and sweet at times.
Chi is a tiny little kitten who, when going on a walk with her mommy and siblings, becomes lost and can't find her way home. While looking everywhere, a family finds her and takes her in. But, their apartment building doesn't allow pets. What are they going to do?
This is an English translation of the Children's manga series. It's really easy to read if your in a reading slump or when you aren't able on concentrate on full sized books.

Since pets are not allowed at their apartment, the family tries to keep Chi indoors so no one will see her. The family tries to find Chi a new home where she can wander, but end up keeping her. The series follows the many adventures and misadventures of Chi.
Kanata Konami has created an absolutely adorable character in Chi. She has this smiling face and large eyes that draw you in. While the storyline is rather simplistic, it is completely entertaining. The art style captures the playfulness of Chi and perfectly expresses her emotions. As an added bonus, Vertical continues to publish this series in color, which adds vitality to the panels. This is definitely a series for all ages to enjoy and fall in love with. Even if you don’t like cats, you will love Chi’s Sweet Home.

Kanata Konami's "Chi's Sweet Home, Volume 1" is and was too adorable for words, but adorable enough make one smile while reading each page! While clearly aimed audiences who are on the cusp of broadening from the basic "Dick and Jane" style of books to something with a tad more depth and plot, aka those new to the art of reading or the ability to read, everyone will find the cute heroine (Chi) to be enjoyable, and her hi-jinks forgivable.
It will be fun to see what is in store for our little friend, and her new family, as the series continues!

I'm not a manga fan, but this didn't feel too manga-like :) The little kitty was so cute, and I loved the story being told from her perspective (what things are soft, happy, scary, etc.). Quick little cute read :)
