I do not like whiny books, and the one is basically one big whine. That being said, I made it 37% through before giving up. The problem is potentially that this is a very millennial book and I am not a millennial. However I hold books to the standard that they should transcend their generation. There are plenty of authors well outside my generation who I love. But a constant complaint by a character obsessed with the seamy side of the internet? The same content is covered beautifully by Nathan Hill in Wellness - whine free and with humor, so I suggest reading that instead!!

Oof. I could BARELY get through 3 pages. In those 3 pages I could not believe how asinine the writing was omg. Vapid, unrealistic dialogue with every other word being "like". Also extremely focused on crude
bodily functions -- why?!

The three women in this book are intolerable. The slurs just thrown around disgust me. Sometimes this book was hilarious and sometimes it really pisses me off or gave me the ick.
