When I say this book is an accurate portrayal of the chaos of sisterhood, what I mean is five days ago Amris and I had a conversation about Hugh Grant and his surprising number of children, and I saw almost the exact conversation in this book.

While I felt that the internet rabbit hole was a bit heavy-handed at times, I really enjoyed this (despite my own anxieties). The ending is open-ended in a way that makes sense to me, but I could see it being frustrated to others.

I rarely say a book feels pointless - I truly do not need a plot - but this felt pointless. Endless bickering with zero reprieve. On a positive note the characters were well fleshed out! but they're all so mean and the ending was traumatizing and had no resolve.

I don’t think this was for me, I like complicated and problematic characters but these two were way too frustrating, and they didn’t grow or change at all. and the mom’s behavior / shit she said felt kind of forced, like there wasn’t even an ounce of love which I get for the story but I don’t know some of the shit she said you can hear that’s it’s forced
