Great, concise read - helpful handbook with facts and examples to battle those trying to spread misinformation about the Israel/Palestine conflict.
Having previously read a few books on Israel’s brutal occupation and genocide of the Palestinians, I found this one a good secondary text. Those with less context might find this too daunting a read (it can be a little like reading a new language if you still consume and believe in the West’s propaganda), so I would suggest reading Rashid Khalidi’s more comprehensive, more first-hand account “The Hundred Years’ War on Palestine” first.
This book made me even more disgusted by every leader in the West of the last century and ashamed of my own (pre-2023) subscription to the West’s dehumanizing propaganda. I’m also sad about the lack of literacy in America - if more people actually read (or listened to) this book and others like it, instead of listening to trash podcasts, the world could be more just.
Somehow though, the conclusion of the book made me hopeful that Palestine will be free one day.

this book is a fantastic, if short, handbook to the Israeli occupation of Palestine, and a great resource for facts and stats relating to the occupation. It is less important to me than works by people like Rashid Khalidi who have lived under siege and rebelled directly, and less comprehensive than longer books, but still a great starting point. The conclusion of the book, looking to a future of a unified and peaceful Palestine, is one I think you will come to share upon finishing it if you did not already believe in it.
