A poignant and honest look of settler colonialism happening and Palestine. It's sad to see how many of the things that Pappe writes about are just as relevant, if not more so 8 years later. It is a great introductory point to understanding the history and the modern reality of Palestine.

My only criticism is that there are points that I wish he had gone more in-depth into certain political moments. I understand that might not have been the scope of the book, but I think it would have made my understanding of it a little more flushed out.

Great read and extremely eye opening. A deep introduction to the myths media has purported on the Israel-Palenstine conflict.

A very good introduction to the ongoing conflict between Palestine and Israel. Pappé, as an Israeli historian gives a very good insight. He dives into many issues surrounding the conflict bus specifically explores myths created and spread by Israel.

I found the depth of the analysis to be a refectory suited to further expand my knowledge in certain topics

I think a critically important book that discusses key talking points of Western and Israeli media use to defend their occupation.
