I didn't read the entire book, just parts for a class. But what I did read I really enjoyed, I love the way Anzadúla really dissects history and reframes a narrative that is very very relevant today. I love the way she extends double-consciousness to talk about the Chicana identity, and I really admire her courage in writing a book like this during that time.

I really liked Anzaldúa's writing. It was helpful for me to discuss it with my classmates as it was not always obvious to me what she was telling me.

overall sigue tan interesante como cuando lo leí la primera vez y es interesante la nueva perspectiva que tengo respecto a este asunto.

por otro lado, qué pedo el poema del canibalismo es impresionante, buenísimo. 10/10

This is more a reflection of me than anything else. I think a lot of the poetry went over my head (and a chunk of the prose) but I found parts of it really interesting.
