I really wanted to love this book. I adore Misha and all of his other endeavors, but he is not a good poet. I wanted so badly for this to be great, but it was lackluster at best. There was only one poem of the whole collection I enjoyed. The rest were forgettable. In my opinion, poetry is supposed to make you FEEL something and supposed to challenge you intellectually. I got neither from this.
I’m not sure what I was hoping for from this book but I don’t think it quite reached my expectations. None of the poems are “bad” per se, just not my personal cup of tea despite how much I love Misha (which is a lot)

خیلی شخصی بود. انگار داشتم یه دری به زندگی میشا باز میکردم که هیچوقت به کسی نشون نداده و نگفته بود و شجاعتش بابت اینکار تحسین برانگیزه، مخصوصا با توجه به اینکه افرادی که مخاطبش هستند خیلی زیادن و شاید اون درک کافی رو از شخصیت و روحیاتش ندارند.
تا کتاب رو وا کردم انقدر غرق شعر ها شدم که اصلا نتونستم بذارمش زمین. عاشق اون حس سردرگمی ولی در عین حال پایان ناپذیری زندگی/عشق تو توصیفاتش شدم.
با بعضی شعرها گریه‌ام گرفت، از بس که بدون سانسور و اعماق قلبش بودن.
اینکه هنوز عاشق باشی ولی هرکاری هم بکنی اون رابطه درست نمی‌شه؛ قطعا یکی از سخت ترین تجربه های زندگیه :)❣️

I have a appreciation for Misha Collins as an actor, particularly for his portrayal of my favorite angel in the show "Supernatural." When I learned that he had authored a book of poems, my curiosity was piqued, and I felt compelled to delve into his literary work. As I immersed myself in his poems, I found myself genuinely captivated by his writing, and I derived immense enjoyment from reading them. Misha's talent extends beyond the screen.
