Very different than the rest of Ito's work, the sci-fi and cosmic horror elements make this a super fun short read.
Goody and dumb in kind of a fun way (especially the idea of thousands of people in a blind rage falling around the rapidly spinning planning trying to catch up to one other person for days on end) but not really scary in any interesting way.
An instant classic this might be my favourite Junji Ito story. The utter savage behaviour, the characters are all nuts, the visuals *chef kiss*

What in the actual heck was this? The first few pages (from discovering the planet to seeing it come close and seeing it omnomnom planets) were OK, but after that it was just a trainwreck with horrible characters, pacing all over, weird/strange/wtfness, and an ending that just had me be like, what is that it??? and other stuff. I am so glad that this wasn't my first Junji Ito read otherwise it would have definitely put me off from reading anything else by him.

Amazing book. Amazing story. Amazing illustrations and art. I loved it!
It genuinely gave me anxiety as I read. It made me uncomfortable to think about death.
