I'm not usually a cosmic horror fan but I love Junji Ito so I said I'd give it a go.

Read it all in one sitting, nowhere near my favourite of his work but still definitely worth a read.

I have to admit this is my least favorite Ito to date - the pacing for me was off in this one, and of course building that tension is so important in horror. I dunno, there were a few too many pages of rushing and screaming for me, it was kind of in this weird middle place between the slow burn of Uzumaki or the upfront shock of the shorts collected as Tomie.
