Very interesting premise and interesting developments.
I enjoyed the first half of the book more than the second as there was quite a shift in narrative structure and the characters in focus.
A little heavy handed at times with dry descriptions of mundane details of the world. While at other times being far too light handed when describing the new, fabulous, and alien. Wasted prose and visual description on the wrong things.
