3.85 AVERAGE

***3.5 rating***

"I drifted to sleep with his gentle voice in my ear, telling me how much he loved me without once saying the word. And I realized…I loved him too."

Brief Summary:

Set in the small-town of Granville, Nebraska (which is a real place, thought it was fictional lol) Evan Moore meets his best friend's (Calista) cousin Dawson Woods at a party. 19 year old Evan is a virgin

This book was great. Well written with a great storyline and wonderful characters. It's fun, sweet, and sexy as h*ll. From friends to lovers these guys had some real chemistry that kept me reading from beginning to end without putting the book down. Can't wait to see what's next.

Cute full length novel after reading the prequel novella to this series. I enjoyed the characters and “game” plot device enough to pick up the rest of this series.

At first I was a little unsure how I would like Even as an MC, but I ended up loving him. He’s sweet, hard headed and adorably innocent. Dawson is charming, perfect, and broken is a way Evan can help with. They go from being casually acquainted, to friends, to smouldering lovers. I genuinely liked this book.

I could've done without the football "bet" and the public humiliation/hair dyeing scene but otherwise I absolutely loved this book. Evan and Dawson are so cute together. And I really enjoyed how quickly the Act 3 misunderstanding was resolved.

Listen. Any book with a spicy queer awakening is getting at least 3 stars from me.

Was it a literary masterpiece with beautiful prose? Perhaps not. But it was a quick read, low angst, spoopy feelings and of course: ✨queerness✨

Not a bad read, first from this author ⭐⭐⭐

Evan & Dawson

I thought that Evan, who seems to be studying and working on his app every second of the day, was the sweetest guy who blurts out that he's a virgin during the party. He sees Dawson at the party and although he tries to flirt, it's awkward and embarrassing. But then both men develop a friendship after that night, which turns into something much more as the story continues. Each man supports the other when they need it, which deepens their feelings for one another. This is a sweet read and I loved every word. Highly recommended!
