I was disappointed. The first book was amazing, the second one good (but no where near amazing), and now this was only ok.

Theo was a mess. Honestly, loser. Sorry but he was not fun, he was not sexy, he just felt like a total loser.

Selene was not kick-ass either. She kept making mistakes and seems her alone is dull. Only together they work.

Not that they worked together now either....

The other Gods were dull too.

It should have ended faster

I forget, are there other goods? Why Only Greek? Cos then just go to like India and take over a role there. Why complain about Christianity all the time when they can go to yes India then and find a new Godrole whatever.

Honestly considering how bored I was and how I skimmed cos the book never end. Ok is too nice.

Very disappointing

I had trouble getting into this book in the beginning, but once it picked up about halfway in, I was completely and thoroughly hooked! It was an absolutely phenomenal conclusion to a series that I love for its in depth research and unmatched New York City knowledge. The ending is unexpected and satisfying. I can't give this book (actually, this entire trilogy) enough snaps for its refreshingly feminist take on Greek mythology. The goddesses who were created by men to serve men are no longer. They stand on their own and make their own fantastic decisions. Just an absolutely great story. I can't find the right words to describe it!! Just read it already!

Not as good as the second one but a decent read. I think one of the problems with this one is that it tries to do too much. Sometimes simpler is better. The first two books had a simple plot but it was interesting and captivating and the twist at the end of the second book was good. This one seemed like it was trying to top that by adding even more of a crazy twist, and I don't think it worked out that well. The ending felt dragged and rushed at the same time, which is weird. It's like it wasn't sure where it wanted to end so just when it seems like things are wrapping up you get a "just kidding, there's actually more, and a new twist too." But then the actual ending feels like it's cut a little bit short.

While this book does have a lot of action, there are quite a bit of slow parts in it as well. I still can't stand Selene and Theo's relationship. She's not as abusive to Theo in this one but they are both codependent as hell. They're super annoying. Overall I liked this series, but the first 2 books were much stronger.

This is an ambitious piece of writing. It must have been difficult to write. So is this review.
Hence I'm not going to write one.
You love Greek mythology? Knock yourself out.

Maybe it’s because I didn’t read the first two novels in the series. But this novel was utterly boring and completely complicated. If you’re going to discuss the gods, just choose a name and stick with it. Don’t switch continuously back and forth.
