This was my treadmill book. It took me forever to finish- but it was entertaining enough. Lots of 90s kids references that entertained me. Some sections were too long but fun time

The pacing wasn't as tight as I remember from Ready Player One, but it was still fun!
We listened to this as read by Wil Wheaton and really enjoyed it. However, I wasn't as in love with it as I was the first one. I can't put my finger on exactly how they differed so much, but I know the first one excited me because of its novelty and newness. I may marinate on this a bit more and add more later.

I wasn’t optimistic going into this after reading the reviews. Glad I ignored them, the book was great. I can only assume people who didn’t like it didn’t get allot of the references in there

I'm not much of a sci-fi reader myself, but what I loved about Ready Player One was that even though I didn't understand all the trivia, the book was still incredibly entertaining and had me captivated. Ready Player Two was just as good! I enjoyed revisiting some old characters and seeing them begin a new adventure. I especially loved how once the challenge became clear, things had to move pretty quickly. There were a few times that I became bogged down with what felt like superfluous details about battles taking place, and the ending seemed really out of place for me. But overall, a perfectly enjoyable read!
