my 2020 in less than one day reread of this book was THOROUGHLY entertaining. america is AMAZING and MAXON is a KING (literally) and WOWOW THE ROMANTIC SCENES ARE WRITTEN SO WELL!! not perfect, but i don’t care it’s a forever fave

I totally understand why some people might not like this book. I though it was cute and I just enjoyed it.

it was a quick, easy read, exactly what you would expect coming from a book targeting a young audience! even if i am not the target audience, i could still find some enjoyment from the book (even though the FMC is frustating at times with her "i'm so ordinary and boring, why would anyone find me attractive" mentality). it was a perfect palette cleanser because it doesn't require much brainpower to understand the story.
