scratch that, no nice romance
this book was written beautifully and perfectly portrays forbidden love and what it is to lose that love; however, i can’t help but think that this older, married, chinese man, whom the main character does not know, can be attracted to this little girl. i also had trouble deciphering whose pov i was reading. this read definitely gave off a lolita vibe ☹ 3/5 for the plot & writing style!!
