This is my first book by Ava Hunter and has kick started my journey for finding romance books where the heroine is pregnant from the beginning and is steamy.

Tessie needed a little break from fact paces LA life and finds herself at a little bar where she decides to indulge in a little one night stand with a hot mountain man. Fast forward, she finds herself pregnant and in no way able to track down the babies father, she goes on with her life. She has a dream of doing like HGTV stuff?? Like she works for clients in staging homes and whatnot. I can't exactly remember, but because of this, she ends up on TV. The Hero, Solomon, happens to be watching and notices her very pregnant belly. He flies from Alaska to LA to track her down and find out if he is the father when he runs into her bestie and secretly sets Tessie and her mountain man up on a baby moon together.

Solomon and Tessie spend a week together in Mexico on their baby moon getting to know one another. Tessie is kind of reaching the end of her pregnancy and ultimately decides she's ready for a slower pace of life and the fact that she's been wanting to start up her own company anyways and she can totally do that in Alaska. Solomon is obviously down with this because he wants to be there for the both of them. Which is definitely a good thing, because Tessie ends up having some complications during birth.

This was super cute overall and a fun pregnancy read.

**editing this review to add in my thoughts on the heroine being from California. Because something about the heroine being nervous about meeting his family because she's Californian felt off and then I read/DNF'd Taming the Heart because the Hero is very anti California. Not about it.**

this was sooooooooooooooooo CUTE!!!!!!!!

just the perfect summer read, entertaining and well written!

At first didn’t expect to get into this book, but it was extremely cute and realistic. As a 32 year old woman (minus the pregnancy), this one hit me in a way I didn’t expect. Finding love and partnership when you are used to being alone, gave me a little hope in my own life. 🐻
