"He can’t live without her. She is his soul. His star in the sky. North, south, east, west, down to hell and back. Any direction, he’ll follow her light."

This one was such a cute read and I knew I had to read it because the cover looks so preety. I'm not usually a fan of surprise pregnancy trope but I also don't hate it. But this book definitely did the surprise pregnancy trope right!

"One night, no names, two heartbeats, and all the stars in the universe."

DID NOT FINISH: 55%

I wanted to like this cause the plot sounded fun but it just lacked charm for me. There was no real banter or connection between the MCs, it was all just angst and misunderstandings, not the whimsical vibe I expected from the blurb/cover. Disappointing overall.

This was such a great read! This was a one night stand, met at a bar and sparks flight. Surprise pregnancy, total opposites attract. My first book from this author and truly enjoyed it. He was a mountain grumpy man, and she was all sunshine. They found themselves in a romantic getaway, and get to know each other. They discover how deep inside, they could find similarities and what they thought the wanted is not longer a possibility. Totally recommend it. It was a quick read for me.

Due to her past experiences, Tessie Truelove has spent her life avoiding love. But after an incredible night with a complete stranger, the interior designer soon discovers she is pregnant. Deciding to tackle motherhood alone, she books a relaxing babymoon with her best friend. She is shocked to find her friend switched places with the father of her child, Solomon Wilder. Solomon has three days to convince Tessie that he's all in but will her past trauma push him away?

This was a super cute take on the accidental pregnancy trope and it worked so well. Solomon was the absolute sweetest and their chemistry was off the charts. While Tessie drove me insane at times, it all made sense based on her circumstances - but my girl just needs to accept the kindness from the hot lumberjack. I loved how they both come from different backgrounds and worked together through their individual traumatic pasts - it was also nice to see older, more mature characters. I am looking forward to reading more from this author.

I loved this story and the heart it had. It wasn’t perfect (the specific phrase “Solomon smeared his hand down his face” was said over and over throughout the novel) but I had a lot of fun reading it and I truly cared about what happened to the characters. The “protector” trope can be a bit much for me sometimes especially when they start being described almost like an animal (think a lot of growling, snarling, roaring, etc.) and the cast of characters certainly wasn’t diverse but the story itself was warm and fun and I really liked it.

I mean she gets knocked up after a one night stand and they find their way back to each other??
I love it. It was cute and light hearted and no 3rd act break-up.
