This was probably my least favorite of all of the NFH series.

I think this book would have been better as a novella. 300 pages of double daring, arguing, I hate yous and "secrets" was a bit much and the premise wore thin quickly. Disappointing for a series that I enjoyed up until now. I also didn't care for the insistence on characters being gay as a plot point/this is supposed to be funny. The book was written in 2015, I think we're past this as a humor tactic to be honest.

Inadvertently took two weeks off from blogging. Things have been manic at work ... and now I'm 22 reviews behind. But this is step one in catching up! I can do this. Haha. I say that every time. Anyway - here we go.

Another Neighbor from Hell book. I have to say I'm not the biggest fan of this author, but I sure am loving this series. I just want the Bradford men to carry on forever. Though - that's not realistic.

Marybeth and Darrin start out just how I like them. Into each other, but one of them is in denial. And their chemistry is off the charts. I just know this book is going to be grand.

Oh. And there it is. The drama. I get it. There needs to be drama. What I don't like about this particular drama is that she's being secretive to protect Darrin, but then actually not following through on separating herself from him. And not just because he won't let her, but because she's not trying to. That's what's annoying about it. If you're not going to tell him the truth then move on. Which I say, but don't really mean because I obviously want these two to have a happy ending. (rant over)

But they figure it out! And tug on my heart strings in the process. Yay! What a lovely story and combination of people.

I was so excited when I got this book and I was still excited with it when I finished. Loved the characters and the story (even if I did get a little bit annoyed).

Overall, the plot was simple. But that's exactly what you want in a Saturday morning read.

R.L. Mathewson, you nailed it so hard it exploded.

I just love this series. As much fun as my husband and I have poking at each other and sharing insane inside jokes, it is nice to have a series based on exactly THAT (well and a SMALL food addiction).

This series is mostly stand alone, but the books are so enjoyable you want to read them all. Double Dare and A Game Plan occur simultaneously, unlike the rest of the series which is pretty sequential. There are a few auto-correct misspellings and name confusions, but not enough to slow a person down or to mar an excellent read.

This series is a perfect vacation or rainy day read. They go fast and leave a nice feeling behind.

This was a very emotional book for me! I wound up crying quite a bit through it and sympathizing with how the main characters felt. Having read [b:The Game Plan|17911643|The Game Plan (Neighbor from Hell, #5)|R.L. Mathewson|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1410705203s/17911643.jpg|25097974] a couple months ago, I didn't get as good of an understanding of this book as I would have if I had read them back to back, but the book was still a very enjoyable read!

The moment Marybeth came into Darrin's life at a very young age, he told her she was his and one day they would marry. Over the years, Darrin has not relented but as a Bradford getting the would be wife to agree is not always a smooth transition. After six years of being together in secret, Darrin is ready for the next step. Marybeth though has a secret that is keeping them apart and Darrin is determined to play hardball to get what he wants, Marybeth.

Another wonderful addition to the Neighbor From Hell series. All of the Bradfords are back and pure delightful to read about. I love how this series interacts with all the characters, can't wait for Reese's story.
