dark

This had stunning artwork - yes, it's dark, grotesque and violent - with an incredibly imaginative take on the space genre. The comedic beats are a little uneven to me, it could be because of the translation. A plot doesn't necessarily formulate until the very end when we're presented with maybe an antagonist and our 4 different protagonists. I had a good time studying the detailed panels and I'm curious enough to pick up another volume.
adventurous dark fast-paced

Q Hayashida is the fucking goat 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 loved Dorohedoro and can't wait to see where Dai Dark leads. Absolutely insane that the main character is 14??? His paggy is great, definitely gonna be my favorite 💀 And the little mini AI dog thing? So funny, a little robot dog with a tube coming out of its butt is such a thing a 14 year old boy would definitely make. I'm so hyped to read more of this 🖤

Content warning for, well, lots of gore. Like, spines ripped out of bodies kinda stuff.

ANYWAY, very cute?? I was smitten with the protags almost immediately and love this weird, space horror world they inhabit. Also surprisingly funny!! I'm definitely swooping up vol 2 and might need to go back and actually finish Dorohedoro.

This was bonkers and I loved it

Hilarious and twisted, didn't expect a space wizard adventure but here we go
