So my expectations weren't very high before I read this book because I read The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight and was not impressed. However, this book had a much more interesting story line - two teenagers email each other for months without knowing the other's name, and it turns out that one is a heartthrob movie star. Although there was more romance in this book, there was still too much detail and not enough action. And even though the reader learns that they email each other for months, there doesn't seem to be as much as a connection between them when they finally meet - maybe a few mentions about what they talked about in the emails, but not much more than that. There isn't much clarity about what happens to the characters towards the end - do they continue emailing? Does Ellie and her mom reunite with Paul Whitman? I feel like this story could've had potential, like the main characters could have learned something that was more meaningful to their lives, but it seemed that they just dealt with the fact that their lives were different and couldn't do anything about it. This book isn't the greatest, but it is overall a cute story.

I want a Graham Larkin, okay?!
He's just so wonderful.
And he has a pet pig named Wilbur.

Life isn't fair sometimes.

Ellie is an interesting character. I like the way she made decisions about things, if that makes sense. And the mystery of her past and the way everything tied together was really cool & seemed realistic (like it could be real) (well, minus the emailing a stranger who happens to actually be who he says he is) (anyway)

It was just so good. I might bump it up to 5 stars, whenever I re-read it. I got it from the library & now I want to go buy it! I love it when that happens!

Highly recommended.

I would probably give this book 3 1/2 stars. Cute story about the love between two teenagers who are also trying to figure out who they are in the midst of their falling in love. Likeable characters, liked how it is told through the viewpoints of both Graham and Ellie. Also loved the e-mails interspersed throughout the book. Overall, good read.

I have really enjoyed all her books, they are just sweet feel good stories with minimal drama. I really liked this one and was pleasantly surprised that she did a novella for this one which i will soon be reading. i highly recommend this book and her others to anyone looking for good reads that are just sweet.

It was average, your typical teen romance book!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book! It was an easy, light-hearted, enjoyable read! Just enough mystery and sweet, innocent, romance to keep me wanting to read more and more!

*3.5/5*

This was a cute book and I think if I was in high school I would have easily given it 5 stars. The story did feel a little young for me and I didn't connect with the characters as much as I like to when reading. Definitely worth reading, just not favorites material.

I freaking love this book! I was expecting not to like it, I thought it would be so cheesy, but I was so pleasantly surprised! It was in such a vivid little lovely small town. I wish I could visit it. It was super fun. A really quick read, but a wonderful one. Left me feeling incredibly happy, and what's not to love about that? Completely recommend to anyone!
