Not my jam. The entire story was basically both main characters being negged my their families and each other. Emotional and verbal abuse were abundant and there was no redemption for any characters.

Aaron and Daisy are just perfection. I love the arranged marriage mixes with teenage miscommunication (without having to deal with flashback scenes). The families and the trauma and the banter! What an amazing mixture. Also, fair warning to those who are not “in the know”…these cute covers hide some SPICY spice. These men are FERAL and we love it.

I hate that this book is marketed as a fun read, there was no fun, a few chuckles maybe. This book being a fun Rom Com is like calling Schindler’s List a great movie for pre schoolers, or the Donner Party one heck of pot luck.
I admit I did not read this first book in the series so I was unaware of the background of the brothers but man that is some weighty backstory to be dumped in the readers lap.
If you like dark and stormy you may find more enjoyment out of it that I did but I don’t think I could recommend this to anyone looking to escape in a Rom-Com.
