Shame it’s not better written because the concept for the world is really good and I would love to be more supportive of such a queer book

Pacing and some aspects of world building made this book a fun read, sadly character work and plotting felt shallow and overly predictable to me. I had a good time but I'll 100% forget about most of it two weeks from now and I'd really have to hear wonderful reviews about book two to keep going with the series.
