Loved with all my heart this anthology, though some stories were slightly better than others, overall this book was amazing and I already bought the 'remembrance of the Earth's past' trilogy, looking forward to reading more of Liu Cixin

Ten tall tales. Imagine if you will, Asimov appears in China ~50 years later. That might be Cixin Liu, expanding on the imaginative tales of the great era of science fiction. Notable differences include a more nuanced political worldview based in China, and more sensitive characterization in keeping with modern literature. The stories are not anti-American, but they are rooted in the expansion of the Chinese nation since the 1970's, and so they embody similar heroic themes to that great era of hard science fiction in the 1950's and 60's.
