I enjoyed this book. There was enough mystery and intrigue to keep me engaged, turning the pages quickly. I will definitely look for another Minka Kent in the near future.

Great story, weird ending. I wish
there was something about the kids

It was ok… I guess. It was just barely interesting enough to not DNF. The twists, although unexpected, really don’t make much sense in light of things the characters had already said and thought earlier on. There were also a few times that super convenient and entirely unrealistic things would happen just so the plot could advance. Both perspectives were downright annoying at times and I thought the characters were just generally unlikable. That being said I was just interested enough to want to see it through to the end, but unfortunately you don’t even really get much closure. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

Now that was a twist

This book was so good. I thought I had it figured out and the author threw me twist after twist until I was sitting in shock.

I would like my time back.... Well, I guessed the first twist from the first few chapters, and once that was revealed (around 70%) it ruined the book, because nothing was logical or made sense for the characters or story. I couldn't suspend my disbelief that much. Nope.

Idk, I was expecting more. I guess it was the unreliable narrator that killed it for me. Really would rate it 3.5 but that only because the ending hit me like a freight train.

Read this if you like Gone Girl.

Wow, this book had a surprise that I did NOT see coming. A true psychological thriller that has you thinking, is there people out there that are like that??
