3.5 ⭐️! Really good domestic thriller. It was a fun, twisty time but nothing really unique.

The plot could have been taken in any direction but instead was predictable and characters were written strangely. The author has the book follow 2 leads and neither of them are interesting enough to pull the weight of the other

I liked the idea that Merrit was actually the mastermind behind everything but it just fell flat and felt like a way to try and make the character more interesting because of how boring she is the whole book

it's a short read, and felt like it dragged on a bit to really make it to the 240 page mark. There's no lead up the story just starts and ends, there's no thrill to this thriller
