not for me because i am not a sports/baseball fan so probably 75-80% was lost on me but I enjoyed the fast pace (kind of? I found it boring but still quick) and ease of this read
blockade billy is one of my favourite short stories SK has ever put out into the world, and i loved morality just as much 💕
Not much of a baseball fan but liked the twist of event in the end and the history of Billy or say katsanis of Iowa

"Blockade Billy" is a very lightweight pair of short stories from horror great, Stephen King. "Blockade Billy" is about 80 pages long and paired with an even shorter story, aptly titled "Morality". The actual story about "Blockade Billy" is about a man who shows up to practice with a minor league team one day in the 1950's who plays baseball with a somewhat dangerous passion and an even darker secret to hide.
As a long time Stephen King fan, I have to say that I really like this book as much as any of his numerous other works.

I really loved this! The writing style was different, but it fit the story perfectly. There was a lot of baseball lingo, so a few times I had to stop and google things, but it was fun learning a bit of the slang
