I want to be clear that none of these books are of literary merit. Now that that is out of the way, I still have loved every single one of them. Dean is such a lovable, hilarious asshole. It was a very light, sex positive read and then, BAM!, the author slams us with a shitstorm with 10% to go.
Eu tinha a certeza que este ia ser o meu livro favorito de off-campus, mas claramente estava enganada. Não é que eu não tenha gostado do Dean e da Allie, mas a relação deles não foi tão interessante como a da Hannah e do Garrett ou a do Logan e da Grace. O character development que eu esperava que o Dean tivesse também mal aconteceu, só mesmo para o final, logo deixou um pouco a desejar. Os últimos capítulos do livro (ifkyk) foram muitos bons e acabaram por compensar um bocado o resto do livro. Estou nervosa para o próximo, tem uma das tropes que mais odeio 🫠

So cute, so funny, so HOT. The third act challenge was gut wrenching, and I didn’t expect it at all but the resolution was oh so satisfying.

I pretty fucking liked this book. I mean it IS my first five star in the off campus series. I love them. I love this couple the most. Their relationship felt so fucking natural and real the way others really didn’t. And couple of funny scenes too because I remember laughing twice or thrice. ‘The life of dean’ ‘Allie-cat’

The Score is yet another formulaic installment into the off campus series.
This book follows the man slut named Dean who is all about scoring on the field and in bed. Until he sleeps with Allie. For Allie, it was nothing but a one-night stand, but, for some reason, Dean cannot get this girl out of his head.
Yep, that is basically the plot of this book. If you have read the other books in this series, you can guess how it ends. And because these are so predictable, I DNF-ed it. I thought why waste my time when I know how it will end. Additionally, if you can, predict beat by beat how the story will go then reading it is not worth it unless you just really love reading the sex scenes.
Maybe New Adult is not for me but never say never.
