When Allie is nursing a broken heart, she's certainly not looking for a one night stand with the campus playboy. With Allie's best friend dating Dean's teammate, they spend a lot of time together and after one night together, Dean is rethinking his relationship stance.

There is nothing better than the campus playboy falling for a girl but this story is so much more than that. I did not see the heart breaking twist that Elle had coming, leaving Dean to make some less than stellar choices. While Allie had found someone so much better than her ex, she couldn't keep giving all her time and love to Dean with the way things were going. Dean did have to live with some consequences but Allie being there for him and them figuring our their future was so sweet. Also Dean and Allie banter was top tier!

Was the point of the book that even unredeemable jerks can find someone willing to tolerate them? Because if so, the author nailed it! Dean has to be one of the most unlikable characters in history and there's barely a plot. It's just an endless loop of him harassing Allie into sleeping with him and acting like an ass.

At least the next book can't be any worse.. right?
