I really loved this book. This is just a cute little romcom but it really stood out for me. I fell in love with Gemma and Jack’s relationship. I love how Jack was head over heels for Gemma. I really enjoyed the family dynamic between Gemma and her family and how that wrapped up at the end.
How do you do a book about a 24-hour time loop set only in 24 hours??? She went through the loop once and we are just supposed to believe what the guy says happened in the others? Wasted opportunity
it just felt very slow and i couldn’t get into it
Gemma and Jack have excellent chemistry, and the author skillfully crafted a compelling time-travel narrative. The plot twist was well-executed, and the characters' development is impressive. Jack's a pro at keeping secrets (this is the moment where I was stunned), and his longing and desperation are palpable.
I loved the book until the middle, but then I started skipping parts to reach the end. I'm not sure why I felt so impatient. Maybe the writing style towards the end felt repetitive, like it was going over what we already knew. It seemed like there was too much detail, especially compared to the beginning. The excessive detail in the later part overwhelmed me, and I think I started experiencing something called 'reader fatigue.' I ended up just skimming through it.
In retrospect I understand why the author seems to just repeating Jack's internal emotional turmoil into long devastating monologue, that is to build up the moment of anticipation, but to me it was just repetitive and exhausting :(. But that's fine because it was on the much later part (close to the end) and I just skimmed through it. Also, I enjoy the story very much up until that point. So now, if you've done reading it, tell me, do you agree with me? Or am I too much? :D

I expected we’d be reliving the same day over a few cycles, but pleasantly surprised to find that the book took place in a single day. Fairly engaging, though I skimmed here and there through the last third - especially the last 50 pages. The book is harmless, nice and light. Characters were flat, a bit too hallmark, cutesy, etc for me so it didn’t keep my attention.
This book was adorable! If you love Emily Henry or Tessa Bailey, You will love this book! I love books with kind of a time travel or alternate reality vibe that this has (although I don't do scary) This book was practically perfect! Loved it!!! Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for sharing this book in exchange for my honest review!

The Déjà Glitch follows Jack and Gemma as they navigate a charming time loop, reliving the same day in an effort to break free and find happiness together. Their playful interactions and budding connection make this a fun and quirky love story with a twist.
While time loops or alternate timelines can sometimes be confusing, I absolutely loved this one. I found myself smiling and giggling at Jack and Gemma’s interactions, which added warmth and humor to the plot. Though the ending felt predictable, I was still excited to see how everything would play out. The only thing I didn’t love was the need to suspend reality beyond the time loop itself, as the entire story unfolds in just 24 hours, making it feel a bit crammed and unrealistic at times (hence my 1/2 star deduction).
However, despite that, it was a great read that I would highly recommend.
