The Deja Glitch is an easy read that has a unique premise. As a reader who is very literal and struggles with science fiction and fantasy, this book did make my brain cramp at times. LOL.

I just had to tell myself to just enjoy the story and not worry about the time travel element. I would consider this a beach read and a nice distraction from life.

I received an ARC of the book from Netgalley and the publisher. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

its such a heartwarming story. it had me constantly at the edge of my seat hoping things would work out, also my favorite characteristic of it, it felt like reading a romcom

2.5 stars

'The Deja Glitch' is a super cute time loop romance in which Jack has to make main character Gemma fall in love with him in a single day in order to escape the loop which he had been living in for 5 months.

On that note I absolutely adore Jack however he is easily forgettable, along with Gemma and a whole load of unnecessary side characters. Even while everything happens over the period of one day I found it extremely slow and dragging quite a bit at some sections, along with that Gemma is extremely negative, and truthfully, boringgg

Time loop is a fun story constraint and this book was a quick and cute read. Some things felt a little underdeveloped, but they also fit a suspicious amount of activity in one day so I don’t know what balance I’m hoping for. Solid library book grab, no big disappointments.

Thank you NetGalley for this ebook!

This was a romance time loop trope. Slow paced.

"One hundred and forty seven redos" before the glitch that changed everything.

Gemma was you know having a normal day, she dressed in her fav outfit for work, planned to pick up coffee on the way, then she started having "déjá vu". As she picked up her coffee and making her way out, some random guy bumps into, causing her coffee to slip all over her fav shirt! Once she sees the guy, he looked oddly familiar, like she met him before or seen him before.

From there the story is like a roller coaster. She meets her fav artist. There's also a psychic and a scientist. Ex-boyfriend gets what he deserves. Family part on equal terms.

Okay, this was seriously so cute! I love a good time loop romance. What a fun read

Let me start by saying I WANTED to love this book. And in some parts, I did. But not enough for more than 3 stars.

Gemma meets a guy at her best friends birthday party. There’s something about him, she finds herself drawn to him. They kiss, she leaves,

She wakes up the next morning like any other day, but she has a feeling of deja vu, and can’t figure out why.
Until she runs into a stranger at a coffee shop. One look at him, and she knows that she’s seen him before. But she can’t remember where.
Until he tells her they HAVE met before, every day for the last five months. They’re stuck in a time loop and he thinks she’s the key to freeing them.

Crazy right? But maybe not.

Overall, this was cute. VERY predictable, even the small things. I had trouble getting interested and then about 4 or 5 chapters in, it started and continued to flow well.
Gemma is fun, Jack is a cliche lover boy, Lila is my favorite.

If you’re into cheesy romances, this is good. But honestly I probably wouldn’t read it again.
