I cannot give this 5⭐ because of the extent to which I LOATHE that dumb trick Briony.
HOWEVER, I enjoy the way this story is told and the way it was written but MAN I have rarely hated a character so fucking much 😡

So frustrating to read. The story was interesting and set against a time in history that no one should ever forget. Yet, the writing and the ending made me partly wished I never started it.
