Enjoyed this, read it super quickly, was absorbed into the world and characters - liked the style of writing which really did seem to capture how an anxious mind works. Despite this it also managed to stay quite humorous and light!

Gilda girl I hope you’re in therapy lol. This was funny, but also sad. As a chronic over thinker I was laughing at myself because seeing some of the SAME thoughts I’ve had on paper just puts it in perspective. Overall good book.

I think this did a really good job of modeling anxious thought patterns without triggering too much of my own anxiety. My biggest issue was that the end felt very abrupt, and I didn’t feel very much resolution or reason to believe Gilda grew as a character

Gilda is such a complicated character who would benefit from so much therapy. The story was interesting with the feeling of a slice-of-life that I adore. Emily Austin's writing and characters make my autistic brain feel seen (whether it's intentional or not).
