The last chapter is the best part and requires no context from the rest of the book to be enjoyed.
This was a re-read. Still one of my favorite books ever. Hit me differently at 43 vs when I first read it at 20 but love it just as much, if not more.
This book was just okay, in my opinion. It was smarter than most chick lit, but it was part of the genre nonetheless. It was a good break from all the highbrow literature I had been reading since the year began. A girl could read this easily in one rainy day.
I loved this book. I thought the first and last chapters were the best. There was one strange one that didn’t seem to fit with the rest other than a single passing line connecting them. But still that chapter held interest.
I finished this book and literally wanted to go back through and read again just to capture those powerful sentences that were so cleverly crafted.
“I drank gasoline trying to get warm.” The writing is sharp, insightful, sarcastic and funny. Loved it.

This was a fun one to revisit. Jane, the main character, has a really funny sense of humor and she's sharp as a tack.
I've tried to like this--reading it several times-- and I've found I just can't. The short story format is fine, but I can't get over the one short story that doesn't fit in with the rest. And frankly, I didn't think the rest of the stories were all that great either.
This was a totally random book I picked up and I ended up really enjoying it. More short story than novel and I thoroughly enjoyed the passage of time and Jane’s relationships.
