I liked the concept but didn’t love the execution. I’m very interested in character-focused stories but I feel like this one fell a bit flat relative to some others I’ve read this year. I also kept being like “no one talks like this

This was so good! The themes of morality and mortality and ethics are just so relatable.

The first half was more of the panicked "how do I get my child back?" The second was more vigilante "Taken movie vibes" and I was 100% here for it.

Don’t believe the hype. My advice would be to wait for movie. The ridiculous plot will probably translate well. The premise kept me turning the pages but often with regret as the 2d characters were poor company and the various twists fairly obvious. There are far better thrillers to spend your time and money on.

Quick entertaining read. I think that the ending was far fetched.

If you're a parent, have you ever been asked what would you do for your child? This book answers that and turns out, it's a lot.

It took me a second to get into the book because the beginning starts off so abruptly but the story is good it keeps you entertained, a little anxious, and wanting to turn the page. I appreciated the ending and overall enjoyed this book a lot more than I thought I would.

Good, fast thriller read.
