-I appreciated how much we went into history but also directly correlated it to what was happening at the time the book was written
- I also appreciated the parallel’s drawn to South Africa.
-  "The only chance for successful struggle against Zionism in Palestine is the one based on a human and civil rights agenda that does not differentiate between one violation and the other and yet identifies clearly the victim and the victimizers."

It is wild to think this book—part essays and part conversations and commentary—is nine years old. I am heartened to read that what Pappé and Chomsky argued for here, including a shift in the common day-to-day parlance used to describe the occupation of Israel, is coming to fruition among American civilians. Not yet with American media, because they are obligated to tow the bureaucratic line. This book is really accessible, and I recommend it with the audiobook for pronunciation. It also hits different when listened to, I think.

Lectura interesante, pero triste. Triste por ver todas las barbaridades ya cometidas por Israel en 2015, y lo poco que ha hecho la comunidad internacional para evitar que llegásemos al genocidio que se está viviendo ahora.
