I felt the circumstances and “superpowers” of the characters was just a little too wildly convenient - I none the less, gobbled this story up in three days it was a fun and suspenseful read with a very satisfying ending.

“The best revenge is to live well.” The best quote, that sums up this FANTASTIC story! I highly recommend this read. The characters are the worst kind of financial executives (think The Wolf on Wallstreet), and Megan Goldin hit the mark with the writing style. The audiobook does the story justice, and I cannot wait to read more from this author.

I had a hard time getting into this one and I'm not exactly sure why. Maybe the reason this didn’t fully work for me was because this was marketed as a thriller, but the pace felt much too slow.
