Plirts-plärts! Raamat on küll Notsu ja Elevandi sarjast, aga oma vihmaarmastuses olen ma rohkem nagu vihmaussid, kes on kohe teemas. Ja no jubenunnud pildid. Eriti need, kus Notsu mossitab.
I love Elephant & Piggie books so much! This one is a riot to act out while reading out loud. I used it at a preschool storytime with great success. Mo Willems' illustrations are so outstanding and convey every nuance of what the characters--Piggie especially--are feeling and thinking.
In this tale, the two friends are super excited to go play outside, but just as they begin, it starts to rain. It POURS. Piggie has never seen so much rain in her life! She is not a happy pig. Things start looking up, though, when Gerald uses an ear to shield her from the rain, and they see two worms ecstatic to play in the downpour. Maybe Gerald and Piggie can have fun in the rain, too? As they realize rainy playtime is wonderful, the drops stop, and Piggie isn't happy anymore. ...Gerald's trunk full of water to the rescue!
