Something about this book made me feel alive. It wasn’t the best book in the world but the characters just made me feel every emotion they felt and I feel just as wrecked

This is a big waste of my time. What is so disappointing, because it did have a good start and could have been so much better.
While listening to the audible I actually though if they say "lala" one more time I will loose it. The book also made no progress, we get it you have issues. The last hour of the book there is movement and the in-between in a bunch of nothing. This audible is then especially 13 hours hours of her being like "I'm to scared to let people in" and reed being like, "but you can trust me". It just gets monotonous.
The review says that reed is a "Bad boy" the man is as nice as it gets, he was a navy seal that is now a cop who only does good in the town. How is the world is that a bad boy, because he has tattoo's? Also what was with all the harping about how all cops are bad and all people with tattoos are messed up? I just didn't get this, it wasn't for me at all.

The premise of this story is great, dealing with the trauma of your past, dedicated man to help out in a sexy way, but is it realistic? I was slightly annoyed by Emma at times, but yet I felt for her. The story had some great depth and meaning, but in the real world it would be a very rare circumstance. Would Reese put up Emma's attitude if she was not an attractive person? Kudos though to being there for someone that has had trauma and needs that tough love and support.

Favorite scene you know when you read: The closet after Reese's shift.

I loved everything in this book. The characters development, the plot the ending and everything between. I couldn’t put this down.

What a mess of a book. The editors and publishers let this author down.

This was a good book and I really got connected with the characters. The MC really irritated me a lot of the book though.
