The premise of this story is great, dealing with the trauma of your past, dedicated man to help out in a sexy way, but is it realistic? I was slightly annoyed by Emma at times, but yet I felt for her. The story had some great depth and meaning, but in the real world it would be a very rare circumstance. Would Reese put up Emma's attitude if she was not an attractive person? Kudos though to being there for someone that has had trauma and needs that tough love and support.

Favorite scene you know when you read: The closet after Reese's shift.

I loved everything in this book. The characters development, the plot the ending and everything between. I couldn’t put this down.

What a mess of a book. The editors and publishers let this author down.

This was a good book and I really got connected with the characters. The MC really irritated me a lot of the book though.

This book is one of the best books I have read in a long time. You feel all the feels and it is such an amazing story. Tragic, heartbreaking, and one of the best love stories I have read possibly ever. Ugh. I’m just gonna keep crying now. Must read!

An Emotional, Addictive, and Unforgettable Romance

Molly McAdams delivers an absolutely breathtaking story in Lie to Me—one filled with raw emotion, deep betrayals, and an all-consuming love that lingers long after the final page.*

From the very first chapter, the book hooks you with its intense emotional pull. The characters are beautifully flawed, making their struggles and triumphs feel incredibly real. The tension between love and pain is woven masterfully, keeping you invested in every twist and revelation. The romance is angsty, passionate, and at times utterly heartbreaking—but that’s what makes it so powerful.

McAdams’ writing is stunning, effortlessly pulling you into a world where love is messy, complicated, and worth fighting for. The pacing is perfect, the emotions hit hard, and the depth of the characters makes this more than just another romance—it’s an experience.

If you love deeply emotional romances with strong character development and a storyline that keeps you glued to the pages, Lie to Me is a must-read. This is one of those books that will stay with you long after you finish.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 5 — Absolutely recommend!
