I have no idea how I came across this book but I’m so glad I did. It was so good, such a great story and so well told.

Emma’s past haunted her daily and Reed was so patient with her. I loved everything about him. The way he always kissed her palm before holding her hand, the way he placed her hand against his beating heart… perfection.

Would not mind reading this book again but I’d also love to read Peter’s story.

All over the place without ever getting anywhere.

A very emotional read. A wounded heroine with a really tough childhood and a hero who does his best to be understanding and patient. A bit of a tear-jerker but so worth it.

I was hesitant to start this one but it quickly became one I couldn’t put down! Such a beautiful story.
